Black silicone flexible contrastors
PhotoDent Flexible Contrastors facilitates the acquisition of a completely black background when taking dental photographs. Using contrastors makes the image more presentable for patients, lectures and publications. The Anterior Contraster can also help show incisal translucency. The contrasters are also useful when examining cervical caries or monitoring shade change during bleaching.
Their ergonomic bendable shape allows easy manipulation and handling by the photographer, as well as self-positioning by the patient where necessary. The soft PlastiMed surface is more pleasant and comfortable for patients, when compared to the older types of black metal contrastors.
PhotoDent Flexible Contrastors are made of malleable metal covered with PlastiMed, which is a medical grade latex-free black silicone material that is hypoallergenic and suitable for intraoral use. The contrastors’ smooth black surface is opaque with optimised anti-reflection performance, for producing a perfect black background for intra-oral photographs.
The material is opaque and reflection-free. Its precise texture guarantees spotless and clean black backgrounds. The black material and its texture benefit the anti-reflection performance when taking intra-oral pictures.
